They sure do bounce around a lot as you do some platforming though! There is a handful of levels and each one has its own theme and look. I really liked the background details in the levels and as far as the enemy designs go these are quite varied and gross which is what I would expect from a game like this.

My only complaint about the way Bullet Requiem looks is actually to do with the animations. It is hard to explain, but there is just something a little off and robotic about the way Shonheit moves around the screen. The gameplay on offer here is decent enough. It is a 2D action game where you move from area to area killing as many demons as you can. It is very easy to get to grips with and the game is pretty good at giving different weapons to use as you go.
